What if there has never been a proper beginning to the process of photography at all? Instead, each photograph represents an ending, a moment when the photograph’s meaning is fully pronounced and its reality has been captured. Yet this ending is not a terminal point but rather a partial foundation upon which the next act of photography builds. While every image finalized a moment, it is followed by an emergence anew from the photographer’s inner vision. In this way, the photographer’s photographic act merges with and serves as the seed for the potential of the next. In this way, an endless cycle of renewal and reinterpretation, or birth, death, and reform, forms.
